Ohh that’s a good one! The insect realm is even more alien. I find this idea of panpsychism particularly interesting in considering all things contain a mind, or something mind-like. In the case of something like insect ganglia, it could raise the question, “how is experience organized and combined?”, given there’s no central observer in the way we typically think about consciousness. Like as if there is no single “I”, just many overlapping “something it is like” parts coordinating. No idea haha such an interesting thought exercise.
